Believe it or not but, I love cleaning. I find it strangely therapeutic, plus when you live with four boys, I find myself cleaning everyday in places like the bathroom and kitchen. I regularly help my mum with the cleaning after cooking in the kitchen and generally all around the house. So, for all my fellow clean freaks out there, I thought I would do a blog post talking about a new cleaning brand that I've discovered which has changed the way I clean. This brand is called Method.

I first discovered the Method brand on Instagram after coming across a washing up product review by a fashion and beauty blogger. When I saw the photo of the product, I saw that the Method washing up liquid has a pump. And, this instantly hooked me in! My mum and I always used to struggle with the regular washing up liquids with the normal lids which required you to pick up the bottle with wet, soapy hands. This was particularly annoying considering some can be rather big and heavy. However, after I discovered that the Method washing up liquid has a pump, this instantly changed the game for the both of us! The pump makes it easier when washing dish as you only need to press it once for the liquid to come out onto the dish or sponge, rather than picking up the bottle. I'm surprised other cleaning brands haven't thought of this yet. But that's not just the best bit. Methods washing up liquid have a range of scents from 'Lemon Mint' to 'Clementine' that are plant based, cruelty free and vegan. I've even got some of my family to start using this too!

After discovering their washing up liquid, I had to check out their other products in their cleaning range. The next cleaning product I purchased was the Method multi-surface cleaner in 'Wild Rhubarb.' And, OMG, I'm never using any other surface cleaner after this! Not only is it non toxic, biodegradable and uses power green technology but, has the best scent ever! You'll find yourself using this everyday when it comes to cleaning! I fell in love with the Wild Rhubarb scent, it's just heavenly and the spray lasts a really long time too. The multi-surface cleaner comes in other scents I have yet to try such as French Lavender and Clementine.

Last but not least, I tried out the Method bathroom cleaner in Passion Fruit. As I said before, I live with four boys, so the bathroom tends to get very messy everyday and I find myself having to clean it several times a day which can get tiring. But, the Method bathroom cleaner has changed this! The plant based, non toxic formula with power green technology dissolves soap scum, limescale and stains which means we do less scrubbing. Not to mention the amazing, refreshing passion fruit smell it leaves in the bathroom!

Method cleaning products are available to purchase at: (I have some attached links)

I would highly recommend trying out some products from Methods cleaning range! You won't go back to using your usual cleaning products!

Have a lovely week,

Lots of love,

Hope you've all had a lovely day! I'm back this week with another fashion post to help you all out when choosing and styling your summer outfits, especially for us Muslim women who find it difficult to dress in the warmer weather! But, not to worry, because in today's post I'm going to help you all and give some inspiration and show how easy it can be to put a summer outfit together! I wore this outfit in Kuwait last December when we went for lunch by the sea and I thought I would use it for a summer outfit post on my blog.

I love my wide leg trousers, they're super comfortable, (especially in summer when it's hot) modest, and gives your legs a more elongated look. The ones I'm wearing here are actually corduroys in a beautiful pink/purple colour. And they're from Primark! This summer, I'm really trying to add some pop of colour in my outfits, so here, I've added colour through my trousers and bag.

I paired my corduroys with this white polka dot blouse that's long and has a peplum hem, also from Primark which I purchased a while ago. It went perfectly with the trousers and it's a thin material so it's breathable and comfortable.

My hijab is a nudey/pink jersey hijab which I bought from Kuwait. Jersey material can be quite thick, however, the one I'm wearing is thin. But, depending how hot it is, you can switch it to chiffon material. I just found jersey very easy to wear and style, it doesn't slip or budge and requires no under-cap or pins.

For accessories, I'm wearing my Ray Ban sunglasses, which have a quite simple and sophisticated style and feature gold details. And lastly, my handbag is from Coach that I got as a birthday and Eid present last year from my Dad. I chose this gorgeous mandarin colour with gunmetal details, it's bright, different and surprisingly goes with all my outfits. Perfect for all seasons! And again, a way I added a pop of colour in my look.

I hope you've enjoyed reading my latest fashion posts and that I've given you all some modest, summer outfit inspiration!

Have a wonderful week!

Lots of Love,

Aleisha xx

This post was actually supposed to go up ages ago, but better late than never, right? I've wanted to do a post about calligraphy, something different than what I've posted before. I started calligraphy around last year after being inspired by my older brother's work and many Instagram pictures and calligraphy tutorials - they're are beyond satisfying and mesmerising to watch!

So, for those of you who are creative and want to try your hands at calligraphy or want to improve your calligraphy, keep on reading.

I thought I would ask my older brother Dawood, who's an artist and designer (and more experienced in calligraphy) to help me on this post and give you guys some tips and advice. To see more of Dawood's work, check out his Instagram - @pathandesign.

DAWOODS TIPS ON CALLIGRAPHY FOR BEGINNERS:

1. Practice - Nothing happens overnight! Practice helps improve your consistency with letter forms, muscle memory and pressure when using pens/tools.

2. Guidelines - Use guidelines to keep your letter forms neat and tidy. There are many free guideline sheets available to download online.

3. Patience - It takes time to perfect your craft. Be patient learning how to create letter forms. Think about the wrist and arm movements needed to move the pen to construct a letter.

4. Inspiration - If you're struggling with a certain style or letter, check out accounts like @calligraphymasters for great examples by talented calligraphers. Don't be ashamed to learn from others!

5. Take a break - No matter how passionate, determined and motivated you are, take a few regular breaks to relax and stretch your hand muscles.

RECOMMENED CALLIGRAPHY PENS:

1. Pental Touch brush sign pen
