So, as I've said before on the blog, I would post more outfit posts to give you all some summer fashion inspiration. So that's exactly what I'm doing today. When I went for my birthday lunch recently with my cousins, I wore this beautiful outfit which I'll be talking about today.

Lets start with the main focus of the outfit - the dress! I bought this dress a while ago from Zara (I think it's still on their website!) and when I first laid my eyes upon it, I knew I had to get it. It's the perfect dress for the modest, hijab wearing girl. It has long sleeves which come in at the wrist with cuffs and the cut at the top is high giving a really lovely flattering look! To top it off, the dress features pleats giving it some definition. This lovely dress is great to wear for the Summer and Spring especially due to the gorgeous yellow colour and the simplicity and elegance of it!

For accessories, I mainly stuck to white accents just to keep the outfit bright and to compliment the soft yellow of the dress. Despite the dress having a long length, my ankles were still visible at the bottom, so I wore black trousers underneath. However, I would personally recommend wearing white leggings or white jeans (mine just happened to be in the wash!).

For head wear, I wore a white chiffon hijab, again, to keep the outfit bright and light. I love wearing chiffon material especially in the warmer seasons because it's light and airy and achieves a great job at keeping you cool in hot weather. The chiffon material also has a luxurious feel and neat look - a great accessory to wear with any fancy summery outfits!

For shoes, I wanted something that would be comfortable to walk in so I opted for these Comme Des Garcon Converses (these are actually my brothers lol!). I love the look of white trainers with dresses and skirts as they add contrast and creates a cool, casual vibe. On top of that, they're super comfy! The Converses I'm wearing have added character and personality through the little cute red heart details, perfect for that pop of colour! I was out and about during the day in the above picture, however, if you were to wear this dress in the evening, you can switch up the trainers for some heels for a more elegant look!

Lastly, my bag is from Dune, a birthday gift from my cousins, Zaynab and Zahra! Fun fact: I was actually given the bag right there and then, when we arrived at the restaurant. And, as it complimented my outfit so well, we decided to have a quick impromptu photo shoot! I absolutely adore this bag. It's very up my street and a perfect accessory for the Summer and Spring. The bag is very simple in style but includes some diamante detailing on the flap to add some sparkle. The chain is also reversible as you can wear it both short, (like how I'm wearing it in the photo) or long.

Now, you're probably wondering 'did she bring another bag to Lunch?' and the answer is yes! As seen in the first photo, I bought a big white MaxMara BCBG bag that my dad kindly bought for me from Kuwait. Like my new Dune bag, it's very simple too with fine gold details such as the chain on the very front. It has both a handle and a strap which you can remove and it's very spacious too.

To finish this outfit post, the last thing to talk about are my sunglasses. I have spoken about these sunnies on my blog before, but I'll talk about them again since I'm so in love with them. These sunglasses are from Ray-Ban and they have a black tint with gold details. I just love how sophisticated they look and can't wait to be given any excuse to wear these more this summer!

Well, that concludes this fashion blog post. I really hope you enjoyed reading and picked up some summer outfit inspiration as well as some notes (insert wink face) lol

Also, thank you to my cousin Zaynab for taking these photos. Xx

until next time,

Lots of Love,

Jo Malone London is a British perfume and candle brand founded in 1994. In today's blog post, I will be reviewing Jo Malone's Honeysuckle & Davana fragrance.

The top note of this fragrance is Davana, a green plant that adds a fruity touch to the perfume. It's heart note is Honeysuckle, giving the perfume that floral, fresh scent. And the base note of the fragrance is Moss, that gives that earthy base to the perfume.

The cream coloured packaging is simple, elegant and classic mirroring the subtle,

fine fragrances in the line.

This fresh, floral fragrance is perfect in either summer or winter for daily wear or on special occasions and can also be layered with other Jo Malone fragrances

I hope you've enjoyed reading this post and found it helpful.

Lots of Love,

Are you even a blogger if you haven't been to Cafe Ladurée? As you all know by now, I love visiting cafes and have posted many blog posts about the different ones I have visited in London, but also in Kuwait. If you'd like to read those posts, just go on the lifestyle section on my blog.

I've wanted to go to Cafe Ladurée for a while now and I can now finally say I have. So, continue reading to find out what I ordered and if it's worth a visit.

We visited the cafe in Harrods, KnightsBridge. Ladurée's interior design features a premium vintage aesthetic. Think traditional paneling, marble tables with gold accents and a big marble counter displaying cakes, macarons and pastries.

At Ladurée, I ordered an iced latte and chose four mini macarons - rose, vanilla, pistachio and salted caramel. My Mum ordered a latte and a Pistachio pain au chocolat, while my Dad ordered a cappuccino and the Vanilla Saint Honore Cake.

Macrons

My Mum really enjoyed her latte and the croissant, it was deliciously light and crispy and the filling had just the right amount of pistachio.

I enjoyed my iced latte and the macarons, however, I think I prefer the macarons from Bouchon Bakery which are bigger and taste nicer.

My Dad said his cake was tasty, which had mostly cream and a pastry base. It also had a layer of caramel which he didn't like that much.

Overall, I think this cafe is beautiful and very instagrammable. In terms of the desserts and drinks, they were very tasty and if you're in the area, definitely pop in.

I hope you enjoyed reading,

Have a lovely week,

Lots of Love,

Aleisha xx
